Testimonial of Cruiser 12B Powerchair

The Cruiser 12B is an excellent electric wheelchair for use on board ship. It folds in exactly the same way as the popular Cruiser 12A which means it is allowed in any cabin on any ship.  A bracket near the handles gives you the option to quickly change into an attendant controlled chair plus it can be used as a self-propelled if you wish.

We’re really excited about adding this chair to our fleet as it just means that we have even more options than before, giving our customers more choice on their cruise.   

One of our customers was more than happy to write about his experience of using the Cruiser 12B on a recent cruise:

"I recently hired an electric wheelchair from Mobility at Sea. It was a cruiser 12B which I hadn’t used before.

I found it very easy to use with the large wheels at the rear just like a manual wheelchair.

It made for a comfortable ride across the uneven tarmac. The larger wheels meant that it could be used as a manual wheelchair if the lithium battery ran out and even had hand brakes in place.

With the lithium battery removed it made the wheelchair weigh less than 30 kgs which allowed it to be easily lifted into cars when folded.

The standard of service from Mobility at Sea was of a high standard as usual with delivery being made by the times stated in the contract.
