Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines began in 1948 in a small Norwegian town called Hvitsten. It was here that the three Olsen brothers – Fredrik, Petter, and Andreas purchased their first ship and began an international shipping company. There will be celebrations in 2018 as this year marks the 170th Birthday.
They have a fleet of four cruise ships called the Braemar, Black Watch, Boudicca, and Balmoral all with a traditional English style. These ships travel to some of the lesser-known ports which mean that you get the opportunity to enjoy destinations that other cruise-goers don’t get to see.
The entertainment package will make sure that you have bundles of fun. Every cruise will have a variety of guest speakers, language classes, wine tasting, and comedy shows. Fred. Olsen are experts on the Norwegian Fjords but also travel to exotic places such as the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Morocco, and Europe.
